The King is Coming!

 

 

Jesus is coming to earth again,
It could be this very day,
Look up and rejoice, my Christian friend,
And walk in His righteous way…
The King is Coming!

Though this world is shaking far and wide,
There is just no need to fear,
When, in our Lord, we live and abide,
We know His coming is near…
The King is Coming!

Oh, what a great and glorious day,
When He takes us by the hand,
Let us be diligent, watch, and pray,
Our Lord is coming again…
The King is Coming!

The clouds shall part and Christ shall descend…
We shall meet Him in the sky,
Hallelujah! Glory be to God…
Forever with Him on high…
The King is Coming!

 

 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
(I Thes 4:16-17)
