In His Name

 

 

Born again believers in Jesus
Glory in His Holy Name,
For, in His Name, we are justified—
New creatures—forever changed.

In His Holy Name, we are baptized,
As we follow the Savior…
Raised to walk in newness of life…
Now in the Father’s favor.

In His Name, we gather together,
Lifting our voices to sing;
And it’s in His Name, we humbly pray…
As we worship our Great King.

The Comforter has come in His Name,
He is with us and in us;
He speaks of our Lord as He teaches…
Then gives the call and sends us.

Repentance and remission of sin
Is preached in His Holy Name,
And as lost souls call upon the Lord…
Their lives are never the same.

It’s in His Name, demons are cast out,
And many miracles done…
Let’s live for Him and do all we do…
In the Name of God the Son.

 

 “Whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God and the Father by him.”
