In The New Year

 

 

Let us begin the New Year with prayer—
Sincere, earnest, humble prayer;
Prayer that flows from the depths of the soul
Keeps the heart from growing cold…
In The New Year.

The year comes just one day at a time—
Sometimes with mountains to climb;
Strength will be given for each new day
As we follow Christ and pray…
In The New Year.

There may be valleys to tunnel thru
And difficult tasks to do,
But our Lord will lead us all the way
If we will trust and obey…
In The New Year.

Let us reach out with confidence, friend,
Sharing His Truth with all men;
Doing our best and living for Him,
Our Light will never grow dim…
In The New Year.

What better way to begin the year
Than knowing our Lord is near?
As we surrender to Him in prayer,
He will always be right there…
In The New Year.
